Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and drive sustainability initiatives across the organization by identifying, prioritizing, and implementing projects aligned with PCL’s ESG strategy, operational goals, and regulatory requirements.
  • Define, develop, and monitor company-wide ESG targets and performance benchmarks, ensuring alignment with international frameworks, regulatory expectations, and long-term corporate sustainability objectives.
  • Lead decarbonization and energy efficiency initiatives, including identification of emission reduction opportunities, evaluation of low-carbon technologies, and development of business cases for implementation across plant and corporate operations.
  • Advise senior management on ESG-related risks and opportunities by providing data-driven insights, scenario analysis, and strategic recommendations to support informed decision-making and long-term value creation.
  • Track and report on ESG KPIs and sustainability compliance.
  • Conduct GHG accounting following CBAM protocols and manage carbon credit documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with GHG standards and protocols while accounting.
  • Maintain records of GHG inventory (Scope 1, 2, and 3) and support plant-level emissions data reconciliation.
  • Liaise with carbon registries and sustainability consultants.
  • Support integration of ESG into corporate strategy.
  • Collaborate with HSE, HR, and Legal to monitor compliance with environmental, labor, and governance standard
  • Assist in preparing feasibility notes, payback models, and case studies for innovation projects.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Sustainability or a related discipline.

Experience & Skills:

  • 5–7 years in ESG or sustainability-focused roles.
  • Hands-on experience with GHG Protocols, emission inventories, and sustainability reporting standards.
  • In-depth understanding of carbon markets, trading mechanisms, and offset project evaluation.
  • Skilled in developing and implementing ESG strategies aligned with organizational sustainability goals.
  • Strong capability in data analysis, documentation, and preparation of compliance reports for audits and disclosures.
